Job Description:
Skillinate is scaling rapidly across US, Europe, and LatAm markets. We're looking for a Business Developer who can identify opportunities, build relationships with C-level decision-makers, and close deals for our custom academy solutions and ready-to-deploy programs.
Your Mission:Generate new business opportunities, manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and establish Skillinate as the go-to partner for workforce transformation in growing companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify leads through outbound prospecting, networking, and inbound channels
- Conduct discovery calls and needs assessments with HR/L&D leaders and C-suite executives
- Present Skillinate's solutions (Academy Builder, AI Academy, Luxury Academy) tailored to client needs
- Develop proposals and negotiate contracts (€5k-€50k+ deals)
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts
- Collaborate with delivery team to ensure smooth client onboarding
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets (ARR growth)
- Represent Skillinate at industry events, conferences, and webinars
- Provide market feedback to inform product development
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in B2B sales, preferably in EdTech, SaaS, or professional services
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas
- Experience selling to HR, L&D, or C-level decision-makers
- Strong understanding of corporate training landscape and challenges
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles (30-90 days)
- Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset
- Fluent in English; additional languages (French, Spanish) highly valued
