Job Description:

Skillinate is scaling rapidly across US, Europe, and LatAm markets. We're looking for a Business Developer who can identify opportunities, build relationships with C-level decision-makers, and close deals for our custom academy solutions and ready-to-deploy programs.

Your Mission:Generate new business opportunities, manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and establish Skillinate as the go-to partner for workforce transformation in growing companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify leads through outbound prospecting, networking, and inbound channels
  • Conduct discovery calls and needs assessments with HR/L&D leaders and C-suite executives
  • Present Skillinate's solutions (Academy Builder, AI Academy, Luxury Academy) tailored to client needs
  • Develop proposals and negotiate contracts (€5k-€50k+ deals)
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts
  • Collaborate with delivery team to ensure smooth client onboarding
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets (ARR growth)
  • Represent Skillinate at industry events, conferences, and webinars
  • Provide market feedback to inform product development

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in B2B sales, preferably in EdTech, SaaS, or professional services
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience selling to HR, L&D, or C-level decision-makers
  • Strong understanding of corporate training landscape and challenges
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles (30-90 days)
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (French, Spanish) highly valued

  • Understanding of learning & development metrics and ROI
