Job Description:
Skillinate is building the next generation of corporate learning platforms. We need a UX/UI Learning Designer who understands that great learning design goes beyond aesthetics—it's about creating intuitive experiences that reduce cognitive load and maximize engagement.
Your Mission:Design user interfaces and experiences for our learning academies that balance aesthetic excellence with pedagogical effectiveness, ensuring seamless learner journeys across web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design user interfaces for our white-label LMS platform and learning academies
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new learning features
- Develop design systems that ensure consistency across multiple academy brands
- Conduct user research and usability testing with learners and administrators
- Design mobile-first experiences optimized for learning on-the-go
- Collaborate with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
- Create interactive components that enhance learning engagement (progress trackers, gamification elements, etc.)
- Design data visualization dashboards for learning analytics
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in UX/UI design, preferably in EdTech or SaaS products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process and outcomes
- Proficiency with Figma (primary tool), Adobe Creative Suite
- Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first principles
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
- Experience with design systems and component libraries
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and development constraints
- Excellent communication skills for presenting design rationale
